Welcome to Next Evolution! This section will help you set up your account and get familiar with the platform.
Creating Your Account
To get started with Next Evolution:
- Click the Sign Up button in the navigation or on the landing page
- Enter your email address and create a secure password
- Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
- Complete your company profile during onboarding
Company Profile Setup
During onboarding, you'll be asked to provide basic information about your company:
- Company Name: Your business or organization name
- Industry: Select your primary industry for content customization
- Website URL: Your main website (required for SEO analysis)
- Target Audience: Brief description to help AI tailor content
Choosing a Subscription Plan
Next Evolution offers four subscription tiers to fit your needs:
- Free: SEO/AEO/AIO/GEO website scans with dashboard view
- Newsletter ($50/mo): Add custom industry newsletters with source management
- Newsletter + Blog ($100/mo): Add AI blog and content generation
- Full Suite ($250/mo): Includes social media automation and publishing
You can start with a free account and upgrade anytime. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial.
Navigating the Dashboard
Once logged in, you'll see the main dashboard with:
- Left Sidebar: Navigation to all product sections (SEO, Newsletter, Content, Social)
- Top Bar: Account settings, company profile, and tier badge
- Main Content Area: Current section's tools and data
SEO/AEO/AIO/GEO Website Analysis
Our comprehensive website analysis tool helps you understand and improve your site's discoverability across traditional search, AI engines, and answer engines.
Running a Scan
To analyze your website:
- Navigate to the SEO Dashboard from the sidebar
- Enter your website URL (e.g., https://yourcompany.com)
- Click Start Scan
- Wait for the crawl to complete (typically 2-5 minutes depending on site size)
The scanner respects your robots.txt file and implements polite crawling with rate limits to avoid impacting your server.
Understanding the 8-Category Scoring
Your website is scored across eight critical categories (0-100 scale for each):
- Eligibility Hygiene: Technical foundations (robots.txt, HTTPS, mobile-friendly, load speed)
- Extractability: How easily AI can extract your content (semantic HTML, headings, clean structure)
- Entity Trust: Your authority signals (E-E-A-T, author credibility, citations, brand mentions)
- Structured Data: Schema.org markup quality and completeness
- Local Reviews: Google Business Profile, review quantity and quality (if applicable)
- Earned Proof: Backlinks, social signals, third-party validation
- AI Visibility: Optimization for AI-powered search and answer engines
- Governance: Privacy policy, terms of service, trust signals, security headers

The free scan provides a dashboard view with all 8 category scores and basic recommendations. Upgrade to a $199 premium PDF report for:

Interpreting Recommendations
Recommendations are prioritized by impact and effort:
- Quick Wins: High impact, low effort fixes (start here!)
- Strategic Improvements: High impact, high effort projects
- Minor Enhancements: Low impact, low effort nice-to-haves
Each recommendation includes specific action steps and the category it improves.
Improvement Tracking via Leaderboard
Track your progress over time:
- Run an initial scan to establish your baseline
- Implement recommended improvements
- Run a new scan to measure progress
- Submit your before and after scores to the public leaderboard to showcase your SEO gains
The leaderboard displays companies with the most significant category score improvements, motivating continuous optimization.
Tip: Focus on improving your lowest-scoring categories first for the biggest overall impact. Even a 10-point increase in one category can significantly boost your AI discoverability.
Custom Industry Newsletter
Automatically curate and deliver personalized newsletters with the latest industry news, competitor moves, and market insights.
Requires Newsletter tier or higher ($50/mo)
Adding RSS Sources and Social Feeds
Build your intelligence network:
- Navigate to Newsletter → Sources
- Add RSS feeds from industry blogs, news sites, and competitor blogs
- Connect social feeds: Twitter/X lists, LinkedIn hashtags, Reddit subreddits
- Tag each source by type (e.g., industry_news, competitor_intel, technology_trends)
The AI ingests content daily and scores relevance based on your company profile and industry.
Knowledge Base Document Uploads
Give the AI context about your company:
- Upload PDFs, DOCX, or TXT files (company background, product sheets, brand guidelines)
- The system chunks and embeds content using hybrid vector + full-text search
- AI references your KB when curating content to ensure alignment with your messaging
How AI Curates and Scores Content
Each ingested article, post, or news item is:
- Categorized by topic (industry_news, competitor_moves, technology_trends, etc.)
- Scored for relevance (0-100) based on your industry, keywords, and KB context
- Summarized to 2-3 sentences with key takeaways
- Deduplicated to avoid repetitive content
Top-scoring items appear in your newsletter drafts.
Configuring Newsletter Preferences
Customize your newsletter:
- Frequency: Daily briefing or weekly digest
- Sections: Choose which content categories to include (industry news, competitor moves, market data, etc.)
- Tone: Professional, conversational, or analytical
- Length: Short (5-7 items) or comprehensive (10-15 items)
Email Delivery Schedule
Set your delivery time:
- Daily: Delivered at your chosen time (e.g., 7:00 AM local time)
- Weekly: Choose day of week and time (e.g., Monday 8:00 AM)
Newsletters are sent via SendGrid with open and click tracking.
Pro Tip: Start with 10-15 high-quality sources rather than 50+ low-quality ones. The AI performs better with focused, authoritative feeds.
Blog & Content Generation
Let AI create high-quality blog posts, news commentary, and evergreen SEO content tailored to your brand voice.

How the AI Content Pipeline Works
The content generation process:
- Source Analysis: AI reviews your newsletter feed, trending topics, and KB context
- Topic Planning: Generates blog post ideas based on industry trends and SEO opportunities
- Draft Creation: AI writes the full post (800-2000 words) with intro, body, and conclusion
- Quality Scoring: Each draft is scored on 6 dimensions (60-point threshold)
- Review Queue: Approved drafts move to your content calendar; rejected ones are archived
Content Types
The AI can generate several content formats:
- Blog Posts: Long-form thought leadership (1200-2000 words)
- News Commentary: Timely reactions to industry news (600-1000 words)
- Evergreen SEO: Search-optimized how-to guides and tutorials (1500-2500 words)

Quality Scoring System
Each draft is scored on:
- Relevance (0-10): Alignment with your industry and audience
- Originality (0-10): Unique insights vs. rehashing common knowledge
- Clarity (0-10): Readability and structure
- Actionability (0-10): Practical takeaways for readers
- SEO (0-10): Keyword targeting, headers, meta description
- Brand Voice (0-10): Consistency with your tone and messaging
Only content scoring 60+ points appears in your review queue. Lower-scoring drafts are automatically rejected.
Reviewing, Approving, and Rejecting Content
Manage your content pipeline:
- Navigate to Content → Review Queue
- Read the AI-generated draft, score breakdown, and suggested improvements
- Click Approve to add to your publishing calendar or Edit & Approve to make changes
- Click Reject to archive the draft (with optional feedback to improve future generations)
Planning Blog Topics
Guide the AI with topic requests:
- Enter a topic or keyword (e.g., "AI in healthcare compliance")
- Specify content type (blog post, news commentary, evergreen SEO)
- Set target word count and SEO keywords
- AI generates draft within 24 hours
Best Practice: Approve 2-3 posts per week consistently rather than batching 20 posts at once. Regular publishing improves SEO and audience engagement.
